Massage FAQ

What types of massage do you offer?

We offer a full range of massage therapies, each designed to meet different needs: Deep Tissue (targeting deeper muscle layers to release chronic tension), Sports Massage (supporting recovery and performance for active lifestyles), Lymphatic Drainage (light, flowing movements to reduce puffiness and support fluid balance), Focus Area Massage (precision care for up to three specific areas of tension), Pregnancy Massage (gentle, supportive care for expectant mothers), and Swedish Inspired Massage (a soothing, relaxation-focused treatment). Every treatment includes the option of our bespoke fragranced oils.

Are there age restrictions for massage therapy?

Yes, our massage therapy services are exclusively available to clients aged 18 and over.

Is Pregnancy Massage available at every stage of pregnancy?

Pregnancy Massage is available from 12 weeks onwards — we do not offer massage during the first trimester. If you have any concerns about suitability during pregnancy, please let us know before booking so we can advise accordingly.

How long are the massage sessions?

Most of our massages are available in 50-minute and 80-minute durations, giving you time to properly address areas of tension. Exact durations and pricing vary by treatment — see our Therapies page for full details.

What massage oils do you use?

Every massage includes our bespoke massage oils, allowing you to personalise your experience. Choose from three luxurious fragrances or an unfragranced option — whichever best suits your mood and preferences.

What should I wear during my massage?

We recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing for convenience and ease of changing. For your comfort and privacy, all clients are expected to keep their underwear on (briefs, shorts, or similar); women may choose to remove their bra for comfort if they prefer.

How do I prepare for my massage session?

We recommend arriving a few minutes early to relax and discuss your needs with your therapist. Stay hydrated before and after your session, and avoid heavy meals immediately beforehand to maximise your comfort.

Will the massage be painful?

Some massages — particularly Deep Tissue or Focus Area — may involve firmer pressure to release tension, and some discomfort can be normal as this happens. Our therapists always adjust their technique to your comfort level, so please speak up at any point during your session.

Is massage safe for everyone?

Massage therapy is generally safe, but if you have specific medical conditions or concerns, please consult your doctor beforehand or let our team know when booking.

Can I request a specific therapist?

Yes — you can check the availability of your preferred therapist through our booking provider, Vagaro. Simply click “Book a Therapy” to view schedules and book directly. Whichever therapist you choose, you can expect the same exceptional level of care and professionalism.

What should I do after my massage session?

We recommend drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated and help flush toxins released during the massage. Take time to relax afterwards and avoid strenuous activity to get the most benefit from your treatment.

Can I book recurring massage appointments?

Absolutely. You can book recurring sessions through our online booking platform — a great way to maintain your wellbeing on an ongoing basis.

Vitamin Injections & IV Drips FAQ

What’s the difference between a vitamin injection and an IV drip?

A vitamin injection delivers a single nutrient (like Vitamin D or B12) directly into the muscle, quickly and simply. An IV drip delivers a larger volume of fluid — often a blend of vitamins, minerals or other ingredients — directly into the bloodstream via a small cannula, over a longer session.

Do I need a consultation before booking?

Yes. Every vitamin injection and IV drip includes a complimentary consultation, where we review your health, any medications or allergies, and confirm the right treatment for you before anything is administered.

Who administers these treatments?

All vitamin injections and IV drips are administered by a qualified medical professional.

How long does a session take?

Vitamin injections take around 25 minutes, including your consultation. IV drips typically take around 50 minutes, depending on the treatment.

Does it hurt, and will I feel the needle?

Most clients describe only a brief pinch when the injection or cannula is first placed. Our team is experienced in making this as comfortable as possible, and the treatment itself — once underway — isn’t painful.

What’s the difference between the Detox Drip and Double Detox Drip?

The Double Detox Drip is our higher-strength option, containing roughly double the Vitamin C and glutathione of the standard Detox Drip — designed for those wanting a more intensive reset.

I’m not sure which drip is right for me — can you help me choose?

Absolutely. Your consultation is exactly the right moment to talk through what you’re looking for — whether that’s an energy boost, hydration, immune support or something more targeted — and we’ll help you choose the right option.

Are there any medical conditions or medications I should mention beforehand?

Yes — please let us know about any medications, allergies, or health conditions during your consultation, so we can confirm a treatment is right for you. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any ongoing medical concerns, please consult your doctor before booking.

Will I feel results immediately?

Some clients notice a difference — like feeling more energised or hydrated — shortly after their session, while others notice benefits building over the following day or two. Everyone’s response is a little different.

Is there any aftercare I need to follow?

Drink plenty of water afterwards, and try to avoid strenuous activity immediately after your session. Your therapist will let you know if there’s anything specific for your particular treatment.

Can these be combined with massage or LED Light Therapy?

Yes — many clients combine a vitamin injection or IV drip with a massage or LED Light Therapy session as part of a broader wellness visit. Just let us know when booking so we can plan your appointment accordingly.

Are vitamin injections and IV drips safe?

Yes, when administered by a qualified professional following a proper consultation, as we do for every client. That consultation is specifically there to confirm suitability and flag anything that needs extra care.

LED Light Therapy FAQ

What LED Light Therapy treatments do you offer?

We offer four LED Light Therapy treatments, each with a different focus: Wellness Boost (Red + Infrared Light) for all-round relaxation, healing and recovery; Skin Glow (Red Light) to stimulate collagen and brighten skin; Muscle Restore (Infrared Light) to ease tension and support muscle recovery; and Clear-Calm Light Facial (Blue + Red Light), a calming facial treatment to help clarify congested skin.

What is LED Light Therapy?

LED Light Therapy is a treatment that uses safe, low-energy light — red, near-infrared, or blue depending on the treatment — to gently target your skin and cells. Think of your cells as little batteries: the light acts like a charger, helping them produce more energy and supporting your body’s natural healing and repair processes.

Is LED Light Therapy suitable for all ages?

Yes. LED Light Therapy is a science-backed treatment that supports health and wellness for clients of all ages. At Rejoovd, we welcome clients aged 18 and over to experience its benefits, personalised to your unique goals.

What areas of the body can LED Light Therapy focus on?

Most of our LED Light Therapy treatments can be focused on the face, upper body (e.g. shoulders, chest), lower body (e.g. legs, feet), or full body. Clear-Calm Light Facial is focused specifically on the face.

What should I expect during my first session?

Our trained therapists will guide you through the process and ensure you feel comfortable. Depending on your chosen treatment and focus area, you’ll relax on your back or front in our calming treatment room while the light works its magic. The experience is warm, gentle, and completely non-invasive.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing when you come in for your session, to make changing easier and avoid pressure marks afterwards. For your comfort and privacy, we ask that you keep your underwear on, and your bra too if applicable.

Does LED Light Therapy hurt?

Not at all. It’s a completely non-invasive, pain-free experience designed to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Is LED Light Therapy safe?

Yes, it’s safe for most people and doesn’t involve harmful UV rays. If you’re taking photosensitising medications or have a specific medical condition, please consult your doctor before booking.

Will LED Light Therapy work with medications I’m using?

Certain medications, such as Tetracycline or other photosensitising drugs, may increase your sensitivity to light. Please consult your doctor before beginning therapy if you have any concerns.

Do I need to wear eye protection?

Eye protection isn’t necessary for most of our LED Light Therapy treatments, though as the lights can be bright, goggles are available for your comfort if you’d like them. The exception is Clear-Calm Light Facial — because this treatment uses blue light close to the face, goggles are required throughout the session for your safety.

How warm does the room get?

The warmth from the LED device has been compared to a pleasant 25-degree day — gently warm, never overwhelming. The room itself stays comfortable throughout, thanks to air conditioning.

How long does each session last?

Wellness Boost, Skin Glow and Muscle Restore each last up to 20 minutes; Clear-Calm Light Facial is a shorter 15-minute treatment. Either way, it’s an easy way to fit a moment of wellbeing into a busy day.

Can LED Light Therapy be combined with Massage Therapy?

Absolutely. Combining a massage with LED Light Therapy can enhance your overall experience — massage improves circulation and helps prepare your skin and muscles, while LED Light Therapy supports cellular repair and relaxation. It’s a great pairing for muscle recovery, skin radiance, or simply a deeper sense of balance.

Why is LED Light Therapy at Rejoovd different?

Our treatments use professional-grade LED devices, expertly calibrated to deliver precise wavelengths tailored to each treatment, ensuring consistent, effective results whether you’re targeting skin health, muscle recovery, or overall wellness. Our therapists are extensively trained in LED Light Therapy, so you’re always in safe, experienced hands with clinically-calibrated equipment — not a consumer-grade device.

When will I see results?

Some clients feel refreshed, balanced, or notice a glow after their very first session, while others see more significant improvements over a few treatments. Your results will depend on your body’s unique response and the treatment you choose.
